The LaRue County Detention Center has contracted medical care with Comprehensive Correctional Care (3 C's) for medical care of the inmates. The detention center has a nurse on duty Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm and an on-call nurse that can be called 24/7 to handle after hours emergencies. Any inmate wishing to be seen by medical staff, has access to put in a medical request from their cell.
