The mission of the Larue County Detention Center is to protect and serve the citizens of LaRue County in a professional, effective, and efficient manner. We will properly maintain care and custody of all persons housed in this facility by utilizing firm, fair, and consistent practices. We strive to keep those in our custody, our staff and the public safe with the goal of returning better citizens to society.
